What GibComply does

GibComply is one workspace for a company licensed under Gibraltar's Gambling Act 2025, or working out whether it needs to be. It turns the law into a list of what applies to you, who is responsible for each item, and the proof you hold.

Six parts do the work. Each answers one question.

    Scope

Which licence does each company need?

You describe each company in your group: where it is, what it does and who it serves. GibComply checks that against the Gambling Act 2025 and gives each company one of three answers. In scope, with the licence category and the section that says so. Out of scope. Or needs a legal opinion, where the Act does not settle it.

    What you get

A dated determination for the whole group, to put in front of your board or your lawyer.

    Obligations

What does the law ask of us?

A register of the duties that apply to each company, built from its scope answer. Every duty shows the clause it comes from and why it applies to you, and has a named owner and a review date. Each one is marked by whether you hold evidence for it yet.

    What you get

Reminders at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days before each statutory deadline, in the app and by email.

Who else does regulated work for us?

A register of every outside company doing regulated or supporting work for you: what each one does, whether you think it needs a licence of its own, the contract and checks you hold, and when you last reviewed it. Suppliers nobody has looked at yet are counted apart from the ones you have assessed.

    What you get

A reminder when a review is due, and a dated copy of the register whenever you are asked for it.

    Evidence

    Can we prove it?

Your documents, filed against the duty each one supports: leases, employment records, board minutes, policies. Expiry dates are tracked, so you can see what is held and what is missing. Held means a document is on file. Whether it is enough stays your judgement.

    What you get

The evidence your licence depends on, in one place your company owns, not in inboxes and shared drives.

    Change impact

What does a rule change mean for us?

When a clause is amended, or your own business changes, GibComply lists the duties and documents it touches, who owns them and the date to act by. A named person signs the record. Once signed, it cannot be altered.

    What you get

Regulatory change stops arriving as a surprise. You see the impact, the owner and the deadline.

  • One dated PDF

    Regulator requests

What do we hand over when the regulator asks?

Pick a topic and a period. GibComply gathers what you hold across every part of the product into one dated PDF. Where something is missing, the PDF says so plainly instead of leaving it out.

    What you get

When the Gambling Division asks, you hand over a dated record, not a weekend of copying and pasting.

Why we built it

About GibComply

Photo: Karen.Houston, CC BY-SA 4.0, cropped

GibComply exists because Gibraltar's licence holders are regulated under a specific statute, and generic compliance software leaves that statute to them. We build from the Gambling Act 2025 outward.

Every answer points to the section it comes from, and says so when it cannot. Where the legislation does not settle a question, GibComply frames the question for your lawyer.

GibComply does not issue approvals or declare a programme complete. Judgement stays with your compliance officer, your MLRO and your lawyers.

Every change is logged and cannot be rewritten. Signed returns and exports are locked. What you show an auditor is what happened.

Kept separate by organisation. Logged and locked. Encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • Your data is yours alone

Each organisation's records are kept separate and can never be seen by another.

  • A record nobody can rewrite

Every change is logged with who made it and when. The log cannot be edited or cleared, even by an administrator.

  • Encrypted throughout

Encrypted in transit and at rest. Connection credentials (calendar sign-in tokens, Slack and Teams links) are also encrypted before they are stored.

  • Locked once signed

Signed returns, scope determinations and exported packs cannot be changed afterwards.

  • AI tied to its sources

When AI answers a legal question, it works only from the sources it is given and cites them. Anything it drafts or suggests waits for a person to accept it.

Which licence might your company need?

Answer four questions. GibComply checks them against the Gambling Act 2025 the same way it does inside the product, and cites the section. No sign-up.

An indicative answer on four facts, not legal advice. Groups with several entities get a full determination per entity in the product.
